We've had a solid 5cm of snow since this morning, and the white stuff promises to keep up throughout the day. The precipitation should be mainly light to moderate at times, snowing off and on until the evening hours. A classic winter's day here in Furano. Apart for a slight warmup on the way on Wednesday (with a forecasted high that just breaks the freezing mark at 1 degree), the good news is that this weather should continue for the rest of the week.

The temperatures are fairly mild at -2, after an overnight low of -4. Things shouldn't get too much warmer though, so be sure to wear plenty of warm clothing when out on the slopes grabbing that fresh powder! The winds have died down to next to nothing, which means everything that does fall will stay exactly where it lays. There should be all kinds of untouched treasure troves of pure snow out there on the mountain. With weather like this, you could stay out on the mountain all day.
