Canyons professional international instructors can help you improve your style and skills, whether it is your first time on the snow or you are an experienced skier or snowboarder.  We have extensive knowledge of the local ski areas and are available to instruct from Minakami to Yuzawa area.  Our staff can cater for individual private lessons to larger group lessons from kids to adults.

We also provide other specialized winter tour services; backcountry ski and snowboarding, snowshoeing and avalanche awareness courses.

The Naeba Ski Academy is located on the slopes of the famous Naeba Ski Resort and are this season offering some ski and snowboard lessons in English.

Himself an Olympian, owner Mr Kashiwagi's family are all excellent skiers and include his daughter Kumiko who took part in the Nagano Olympics, and his sons who also race professionally.  The school promises a high level of attention to detail and professional lessons on the slopes.

NASPA Ski Garden each season offers the chance to take ski lessons in English (Private Lessons only), with native English-speaking instructors at the resort during the peak season.  NASPA Ski Garden is a skiers-only resort, and our lessons are particularly suited to beginners, intermediates and families.

The number of available English-speaking instructors is limited, and so please be sure to check for availability and book in advance if you want to make use of this facility.  NASPA has instructors available for lessons of any level - from complete beginners to good skiers!
