It is about 2 Hours to Sendai Station from Tokyo
Station by JR Tohoku Shinkansen Line, and about 4 Hours
30 Minutes from Shin-Osaka Station with a change at
Tokyo Station, by JR Tokaido and Tohoku Shinkansen Line.
The JR Tohoku Shinkansen takes two hours by the Yamabiko
service or 2 and a half hours by the Aoba service
between Tokyo (Ueno) and Sendai. Trains run about every
20 minutes. The JR Tohoku Shinkansen line also connects
Sendai to Fukushima in 26 minutes and continues north to
Morioka in 50 minutes. The Tohoku Kyuko night bus runs
between Tokyo (Tokyo Station) and Sendai in about 7
hours and 45 minutes. There are also night buses between
Sendai and Osaka, which takes 12 hours and 15 minutes as
well as day buses to other Tohoku destinations. Sendai
is also a major port and there are ferries operating to
Nagoya and Tomakomai (Hokkaido).
Furukawa Station is 2 Hours 15 Minutes from Tokyo
Station by the JR Tohoku Shinkansen Line. Naruko Onsen
Station is 55 Minutes from Furukawa Station on the JR
Riku-to Line.
