Thinking of traveling around Japan by plane?
It may not seem like the obvious choice, but may be worth looking into
depending on where you are and where you want
to get to. Many people travel within Japan up to
Hokkaido by plane. Flying can be faster than train travel and at the
same time can work out to be about the same or not much
more than using the trains.
Most domestic airlines
use the Haneda Airport for
internal flights, while all international flights
use the Narita International Airport in Chiba
which is about 1 hour from central Tokyo by train.

Tokyo

Tokyo and it's airports.
