Mt. Naeba
2010-2011 Season
Naeba: 4th December 2010 - 10th April 2011
Kagura: 20th November 2010 - 22nd May 2011

Possibly the most famous of all Japanese ski resorts, Naeba Ski Resort has been linked with the highly-regarded Kagura Ski Resort to form a massive snow resort area referred to as "Mount Naeba".

Naeba alone is Japan's largest single ski resort and provides more than enough for a day's adventure in the snow.  But, skiers can now ride the world's longest gondola, called the "Dragondola", 5.5km from the slopes of Naeba directly to the Tashiro area of Kagura Ski Resort.

From Tashiro, skiers can continue to the other Kagura runs as well as to the Mitsumata area of this massive resort.

The 3000-room Naeba Prince Hotel stands like a small mountain range at the base of the Naeba ski slopes.  In addition to ski-in ski-out access to the snow, the hotel provides apres-ski enjoyment with its many amenities.  Lifts are in operation for 13 hours a day Sunday - Friday (8am-9pm) and an incredible 14 hours on Saturdays (8am-10pm) allowing skies to concentrate on the activity they came for!

You'll find a huge variety of runs and courses in Mount Naeba, with generally excellent snow conditions throughout the winter season.
