Kamui Ski Links, Asahikawa, Hokkaido
 
 
 
 
 

Kamui Ski Links is one of Hokkaido's best little ski areas, Kamui gets over 8m of Central Hokkaido's perfect powder snow and is blessed with a huge amount of blue sky days. Kamui is located 15 minutes drive from Asahikawa City and is convenient for day trips from Furano or even Sapporo.

There is a large range of accommodation in Asahikawa including Palace Hotel, Grand Hotel, Terminal Hotel and Crescent Hotel.

Kamui does not restrict skiing in any of the gladded areas in or around the resorts. Tree skiing is allowed in Kamui and ski patrol and rescue experts will assist you in the event of an accident or injury out of bounds. Please take extreme care whilst skiing in the trees and out of the ski areas boundaries. Please use and carry appropriate safety equipment at all times out of bounds.

Asahikawa City is only 20km from Kamui Ski Links. Asahikawa City has the amazing Winter Festival from Feb 8 ~ 12. There are over 1,200 restaurants and bars in downtown Asahikawa where anyone can find something to enjoy.

   

Full rental for skiers & snowboarders is available.

Full day full rental is \4,500 for ski and snowboard sets.
Half day rental is \3,000.
Kid’s full day full rental is \3,000.
Kid’s half day is \3,000.

   

Caution

Courses A, B, C are not groomed and open for tree-skiing. Take care with bumps and trees. Please maintain control on all courses. Theses courses are subject to closures due to poor weather conditions.

   

At the base of the ski area there is a Central House where a restaurant and a fast food dining area serve up delicious and easy food.

 

   

The Den; Café 751

At the top of the Gondola there is a great café-come-bar with an open fireplace, table soccer, views stretching over the ski area and through the valley and a great atmosphere serving curries, pies and a variety of drinks.

 

From Asahikawa

There are regular shuttle busses from downtown Asahikawa, the JR train station and Asahikawa Hotels.

From Furano

Shuttle buses run from Furano every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday. Please book there buses at www.alpn.jp/ or email info.kankou@furano.ne.jp. For tours out the back of Kamui please contact Back Country Powder Tracks – www.b-powdertracks.com.
