Joetsu
Kokusai is located just to the north of Yuzawa Town in
Niigata Prefecture in Minamiuonuma-shi, formerly known as Shiozawa.
With it's own train station on the Joetsu
line (just 10 minutes from Echigo Yuzawa Station), it is very easy to get to
and provides some stunning views of the surrounding valley and
mountains.
Joetsu Kokusai is a popular resort with all ages and
riders, and offers a wide range of courses with over 10 million square
meters of space. |

SpongeBob Snow Camp: This season
a new ski and snowboard school for 3-12 year olds opens at Joetsu
Kokusai - SpongeBob Snow Camp! SpongeBob characters and a new
SpongeBob Kids Park, children of all levels will be able to enjoy
the snow and learn whilst having fun. The facility will be
open from 10am-12pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm during the season [2 hours @
4,500 yen, 4 hours @ 8,000 yen] |

Rent the latest Salomon gear for all the family and skill levels from
the Salomon Station facility in the Rental Corner of the Hotel Green
Plaza Joetsu; |

M&J Project: This project
is a tie-up with the nearby Centleisure Maiko resort. If you
buy a season ticket at Joetsu Kokusai, you will receive two one-day
lift tickets for that resort also. If you have a season pass
for Joetsu Kokusai, you will also be able to ride at Centleisure
Maiko or Gala Yuzawa resorts for 1000 yen! |
