Snow Paradise Inawashiro is located within Bandai Asahi National Park, which can be conveniently accessed from Tokyo. The 1hour 30 minute Shinkansen ride and 40 minute ride on the local Ban-Etsu West Line will take you to Inawashiro Station, "the gateway to the highland resorts". A free shuttle bus will transport you from there up to the ski resort in 15 minutes.

In winter, Snow Paradise Inawashiro is considered a snow paradise and as you come down the slopes a superb panoramic view of Lake Inawashiro unfolds before your eyes. The spectacular scenery, among the finest in Japan, is sure to capture your heart and have you coming back time and again. Coming up to its 60th anniversary, Snow Paradise Inawashiro keeps on getting bigger and better!

Stretching 6.8km overall, Snow Paradise Inawashiro offers a variety of runs for beginner to advanced level skiers and snowboarders. The slopes fan out towards the foot of the mountain, offering plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the runs.

- Tickets can be purchased at the Center House Bandai.
- Our resort uses electronic lift tickets, which require a 1000-yen deposit. The deposit will be refunded upon the return of your electronic ticket.
- Child rates apply to children 6-12 years old. Children under 6 years old are admitted free of charge.
- Senior rates apply to people over 50 years of age.
- Night skiing is available from December 21 ~ March 15 on the Hayama No.1 Lift. The Hayama No. 7 Lift will only operate for school group reservations.
 

We offer equipment for rent from Salomon, Rossignol, Burton and so on. We offer high quality rental equipment so you can enjoy a fun and safe skiing/snowboarding experience. For the duration of the rental period it is possible to exchange the equipment at any time. We also offer a Parent/Child discount (One Adult & One Child Ski/Snowboard rental) for 5000-yen.

By Car From Tokyo:
Take the Shuto Expressway to the Tohoku Expressway. Then take the Ban-Etsu Expressway to Inawashiro

From Narita:
Take route 408 to the Joban Expressway. Then take the Ban-Etsu Expressway to Inawashiro

By Train From Narita/Tokyo:

Take the JR Narita LTD Express to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, take the Tohoku Shinkansen to Koriyama Station. From Koriyama Station take the JR Ban-Etsu West Line to Inawashiro Station.

There is complimentary shuttle bus service from/to Inawashiro station to/from Snow Paradise Inawashiro.
