Hakuba - the foot of the Japan Alps
Hakuba village, located in the north western part of
Nagano Prefecture is a popular all-year round resort area. It is
probably best known however for the fantastic winter sports facilities,
including the famous Happo-one resort which hosted the downhill race at
the Nagano Winter Olympics in 1998. With a huge range of courses
on offer at 7 resort areas, skiers and snowboarders at all skill levels
will find something to suit them in Hakuba.

"Genki-go" Shuttle Bus

This new shuttle bus service will run from 5:20pm to
10:35pm each day during the above period and covers a wide area from the
Happo area to the Hakuba Goryu area. (Details in below map).
Please note that to use this bus service you will
need to purchase a ticket in advance at the hotels and shops that are
listed in the below pdf files - tickets cannot be purchased from the
bus. The bus will also only stop at the locations shown on the
map.
