With an area of 782 square meters and a 30km of rideable courses, ALTS Bandai is one of the biggest ski and snowboard resorts in the Tohoku region of Japan.  There is a lot of variety and with 29 courses, something for everyone from beginners to experienced riders.  ALTS is also the stage for some big events - with the Nissan   in February and March 08.

Onsen and resort hotel, snowmobile, bananaboat and other attractions make it a great place to just enjoy being on the snow - ALTS is a families, couples and groups snow resort.

Freestyle Park

The biggest in Asia - 6 freestyle parks to choose from depending on your level - over 100 items available during the season.

[NEW!] Park 9 Street

Level: beginner~ intermediate

You can enjoy snowboarding on 1700m slope - the longest park in Japan!

 

 

 

Indy Park

Level: beginner

This is a park for beginners that was overseen by Hashimoto Michiyo, a member of the Salt Lake Olympics.  Indy Park is produced by Michiyo Hashimoto, who was a member of Salt Lake City Winter Olympics 2002. It was designed for beginners and kids riders.

 

 

 

Black Diamond Park

Level: intermediate - advanced

Slope style park layout, very near to the café Rider’s and Freestyle Demo Center.

This is the most popular park in ALTS Bandai and features a variety of jibs, jumps and a regular pipe.

 

 

 

Global Park

Level: advanced

Global Park is the leading snow park of Japan that hosts world championships. Super Pipe Spec : 19 feet high, 400 feet long.

 

 

 

Stadium Park & Night Park

Level: intermediate

Come and watch the big boys carve it up from the grandstand!

 

 

 

Entry Park

Level: beginner

A beginners park with safety a primary concern.

Freestyle Demo Center - the first in Japan

Specialist staff are on hand to help and give advice on freestyle snowboarding and the latest Burton equipment.  Our new demo center is geared up to help people advance their freestyling skills.  Take the new Burton models for a test drive!


The Riders Cafe & Restaurant

Rider’s is near the park and is a fun place decorated with classic ski and snowboard gear and photographs.   You can also watch shows of surfing, skating and snowboarding on the big screen. 


Nissan X-Trail Nippon Open 2008 Snowboard Championships

26th February 2008 - 2nd March 2008

In 2008, participants from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Europe & Japan will take part in the Nissan X-Trail Nippon Open Snowboard Championships  at ALTS Bandai - from 27th February 08 - 3rd March 08.  Shaun White and other top level riders will be here, so look forward to their performances.


ALTS 52 Festivals

Every weekend there is a festival at Alts Bandai!  New Year Countdown, "Thanks Festival" and more - look out for 52 events during the season!


Adventure Kindom ("Bouken Oukoku")

Adventure Kingdom is a theme park where you can enjoy various winter activities using snow sleighs and snow mobiles.  You can also visit nomadic camping tents and experience making hot chocolate, smoked foods, and making small crafts.   Fun for all the family when you have had your fill of the slopes!


Bandaisan Onsen Hotel (152 rooms)

All rooms at the Bandaisan Onsen Hotel have been renewed this year and each guest room has either ski slope view rooms or lake view rooms.

Resort Inn Bandai (63 rooms)

This inn is easy to get to from the slopes and has reasonable costs.  4 to 6 people family and group rooms.  Weekday limited room share plan from 1980 yen is recommended.
