Ski and snowboarding lessons
Canyons professional international instructors can help you with your to improve your　style and skills, whether it is your first time on the snow or you are experienced skier or snowboarder.　 We have extensive knowledge of the local ski areas and are available to instruct　from Minakami to Yuzawa area. Our staff can cater for individual private lessons to larger group lessons from kids to adults.　

Backcountry Ski & Snowboard
Escape the crowded slopes and experience the freedom of the mountains!　Learn the basics of safe backcountry riding and equipment use from our professional guides. Take in spectacular mountain views while hiking and riding through some of Japan's best powder snow.

Snowshoe
Experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan's Winter wonderland. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic mountain views while touring through pristine native Japanese beech forests and sprawling (spacious) glaciers. Journey to translucent frozen waterfalls and behold naturally contoured ice statues within hidden caves. Refresh your body with the taste of the crisp mountain air.

SUMMER

Negotiate your way down steep canyons by abseiling and jumping waterfalls and cliffs, cascading down natural chutes and swimming through crystal clear pools. 80% of the time is spent in the water The canyoning season starts in late May and continues through to early October.

Rafting
Minakami Onsen is the source for the Tone River, Japan's biggest river. During the Spring melt, April - June, the river provides consistent grade 4 rapids for over 12kms of whitewater rafting bliss. There are a number of different courses available to cater for all levels, from nervous beginners to adrenalin junkies.

MTB
MTB professional Nathan Bennett (Team Specialized) will guide you from start to finish on your preferred downhill course. Support from Specialized Japan ensures every tour includes a quality Specialized mountain bike and full equipment. All beginner courses are entirely downhill, so no worries about hard uphill climbs!

Canoe
A contrasting day of excitement and relaxation. Explore the reaches of the Minakami mountain lakes with a professional canoe or kayak guide. Incredible scenery, native bush and plenty of wildlife.

Perfect for a family adventure or a great escape for city dwellers into the zen of the wilderness.

Bungy Jumping
Experience Japan’s highest bridge bungy. 42m of pure adrenaline with over 10 different styles of jump to cater for even the hardcore thrill seeker.

Caving
Spend the day exploring the depths of Japans’ underworld. Climb, scramble and crawl through a series of passages, rappel down chutes into giant caverns, and experience the beauty of this limestone wonderland.

Special Super One Day Tours
This one is for the real adventure freaks. A special one day tour to one of the newly discovered canyons in the Kanto & Kansai areas. Be in the first group to descend one of these amazing secret canyons.
