Nozawa Onsen Ski School, whose base is located
on the Higake area of the famous Nozawa resort,
has a long history of providing excellent
tuition for those wanting to get the most out
of their
winter sports experience when they visit
Nozawa Onsen. The Ski School is a good place
to advance your skiing and snowboarding
skills, gain useful advice and ideas.
Each lesson
that we arrange is put together by target, age
and current skill levels
- so skiers and snowboarders of all levels and
ages are welcome. Exclusive private lessons
are also available.
If you want to try something different, we
also offer snowshoe courses - these allow you
to enjoy the
beauty of the Nozawa region from a different
perspective.
The experienced staff at Nozawa Onsen Ski
School all know the mountain well - and look
forward to the chance of sharing new Nozawa
adventures with you this season. We hope to see you at the Ski School this
winter!

Choose from a variety of packages
to suit your budget and needs. Our general ski
and snowboard lessons will help you to learn to
ski or to fine tune your techniques. These
lessons are run daily with one-day and half-day
(morning/afternoon) sessions. Depending on your
experience, our qualified instructors will be
able to teach you the basics or help you improve
your techniques. For more information, please
come to the front desk during reception hours.
Due to popular demand and limited instructor
availability, we are only able to book one day
in advanced between 3pm and 5pm or between
8:30am and 9:45am on the morning of the lesson.
Children must be at least 12 years of age for
ski lessons or 10 years of age for snowboarding
lesson. We also recommened a helmet for safety
purposes.
