NISS just got bigger, 150 instructors at two locations – Hirafu and Hanazono.

There is nothing more exhilarating than a great day on the snow, and still fresh in your mind are those epic runs you mastered; NISS is dedicated to delivering that experience for all of its guests.


		NISS continues to expand and now offers a full suite of services at its new Hanazono location; the team has grown to 150 Snowsports Professionals from around the globe and continues to be the No.1 International Snowsports School in Niseko.

A complete offering of services to accommodate every guest’s needs and aspirations, whether they are first timer or desire to experience the immense back country that Niseko has to offer.

A friendly and enthusiastic team will take you and your family to the next level in an environment that is perfectly suited to delivering that extra special Snowsport experience.

Now on offer in addition to Hirafu is the new Hanazono location with a specialised learning area, Kids Center and office, NISS has made it easy to book with three ticket locations.

The new Hanazono Kids Wonder Land boasts two massive new "Covered" Magic Carpets...one 60m and the other a first for Japan at 125m long.

Kamonohashi will continue his adventures providing fun and entertainment for all of the NISS Kids.

Group Programs

Multi or single day class lessons are available for all levels of skiers and boarders.

NISS programs have been designed with both the “go getter” and the leisure guest in mind. For the aspiring leisure guest, it might be enjoying an entire week’s adventure and learning with your very own instructor/guide, or a “quick tip” to get you back on track. Whatever your goal might be, one of our professional group instructors will tailor a program to suit your needs. You'll be amazed at the incredible difference a week of guidance can make.

Adult Skiing Group Programs

Class Lessons are great fun and provide a wonderful opportunity to meet new people!

Whether it’s your first time skiing or you are a powder expert, we will refine your skills to ensure you get the most out of your skiing.

Our teaching structure is divided into 6 levels and we will guide you as to the ideal program to satisfy your individual needs and ability level.

All day programs are a great way to explore the whole mountain during your holiday and group programs enjoy lunch together at one of the many different restaurants around the United Niseko region.

The benefit of a personal instructor for your individual requests is that they will quickly have you on the road to fulfilling your goals in an enjoyable and safe environment.

Lessons do not include lift tickets and reservations are strongly recommended.

“The White Room”

Niseko is home to some of the most consistent powder snowfalls and powder skiing in the world.

NISS offers professional guiding into the “White Room”, in areas both within and beyond the boundaries of the Niseko Ski resort.

The opportunities for a perfect powder progression are endless and with the potential to be skiing or riding bottomless powder, NISS has the right program to suit your level right through to those who simply need an experienced local to find the best snow.

NISS KIDS & Youth Programs

NISS is Japan’s most creative Kids Snowsports School, offering progressive programs backed by an international team of expert instructors. The children will be thrilled with their very own “magic carpet” lifts and sheltered learning environment both indoor and outdoor.

In addition, NISS has a fun filled and innovative terrain park to suit skiers and boarders of many levels.

All Day programs include lunch.

Kamonohashi is our fearless adventurer, come and join his adventures while he zooms around Niseko leading the Kids. Kamonohashi uses his martial art skills and the power of his magic staff to protect nature and its friends. He loves teaching children how they can become Nature’s Warriors and great skiers and riders like him

Tictac Kids Club (3-6years)

Tictac Kids Club is pure 100% fun for little skiers, whether it’s their first time or they can already ski. Your child will be taught under the safety of a qualified NISS instructor to ensure they receive the best guidance and care available.

Registration for all 3—6yrs is at 9:30am on Sunday & Monday.
Pick up for Tictac Kids is 3:30pm (all day class) or 12:30pm (morning class).

Yuki Skiers & Boarders Workshop (7-14 years)

The Yuki workshops are all about fun and action for kids; they will explore the entire mountain, ride the terrain park and enjoy the fantastic Niseko powder. This program is designed to ensure kids get the most out of the experience by gaining essential skiing and boarding skills while having loads of fun in a safe learning environment under expert supervision.

Registration is at 9.15am; Greeting & Grading for all NISS Kids lessons starts at 9.45am.
Pick up for Yuki Workshops is 3:30pm (all day class) or 12:30pm (morning class)

For families (2 parents with 2 to 4 children) children receive a 25% discount on their NISS Kids All Day group programs when 2 parents are also enrolled in All Day NISS group programs of 3 days or more.

Discount only applied when 3 day or more All day programs (each guest) are purchased for both parents and children for identical dates and all purchased in the same transaction.
