NISS is Japan’s largest International Snowsports School with over 100 Instructors and conveniently located at Hirafu (adjacent Kogen Hotel) and Hanazono.

A complete offering of services to accommodate every guest’s needs and aspirations, whether you are a first timer or desire to experience the immense back country that Niseko has to offer. A friendly and enthusiastic team will take you and your family to the next level in an environment that is perfectly suited to delivering that extra special Snowsport experience.

In addition to Hirafu, the Hanazono location offers a specialised learning area, Kids Center and office, NISS has made it easy to book with three ticket locations. The popular Hanazono Kids Wonder Land boasts two massive "Covered" Magic Carpets...one 60m and the other a first for Japan at 125m long.

Kamonohashi will continue his adventures providing fun and entertainment for all of the NISS Kids.

Adult Group Programs

For your convenience we have simplified the pricing structure for group lessons. Both ski and board lessons are now the same price. In addition, we have also created lesson themes based on the period of participation ensuring you will get maximum development and fun from your time with NISS.

Multi or single day class lessons are available for all levels of skiers and boarders. There are 6 levels and your instructor will ensure you are placed in the appropriate class.

***Please note: Most Private lessons are capped at a maximum of 4 participants to maintain the benefits of privates. We encourage you to ensure any private group members have similar skills and motivations to ensure the best results.

#Niseko Classic day:  Lessons are scheduled to finish by 3:30PM each day.  Please inform us of your preferred start location and time on booking.

Private Ride and Shoot

Grab a few friends, the family or all the children in your group and head out with a private ski Instructor and your own photographer for the Ultimate Photo shoot.  Each participant receives one 10 x 8 image from Niseko Photography or a CD option.

This private is designed to accelerate a child’s learning ability to ski or ride. Our instructors are focused on delivering quality results by utilising a range of special tools in a fun environment.

*NISS Private Lessons are available every day a week from 29/11/10 to 3/4/11.

Women Know How Program

It’s time to change and you will find it a lot easier with like-minded friends around. This NISS women’s program provides a technical, yet fun way to break through to the next level. Our program is lead by highly qualified girls who really know how to ski and teach. To ensure you progress with ease, you will be placed in a group that matches your skill level. The program is five fun educational days and starts everyday from Hanazono.

NISS is Japan’s most creative Kids Snowsports School; we offer a progressive kids and youth program backed by an international team of expert instructors. The children will be thrilled with their very own “magic carpet” lifts and sheltered learning environment (both indoors and out). In addition, NISS has a fun filled and innovative terrain park to suit skiers and boarders. All Day programs have lunch inclusive.

Tictac Club (3-6 years)

Tictac Club is pure fun for little skiers, whether it’s their first time or they can already ski. Your child will be taught under the safety of a qualified NISS instructor who ensures they receive the best guidance and care required.  Registration for all Tictac Club lessons for 3-6yrs is at 9.15am.

The Yuki programs are all about fun and action for kids; they will explore the entire mountain, ride the terrain park and enjoy the fantastic Niseko powder. This program is designed to ensure kids get the most out of the experience by gaining essential skiing and boarding skills while having loads of fun in a safe learning environment under expert supervision.

*Registration is from 9.15am - Greeting & Grading for all NISS Kids lessons starts at 9.45am.
*Pick up for Tictac Kids & Yuki Workshops 3:30pm (all day class).

*NISS Kids Programs are available every day at Hanazono and Hirafu from 6/12/10 – 3/4/11

*Child packages are available for kids from 6 to 14yrs. Please ensure you inform the age of the child during the booking process.

*Adult Packages: We strongly recommend that strong intermediate skiers choose a Niseko United Package as you will explore the whole Niseko United skiing area during your week’s lesson.
