The Nagano
Shinkasen (bullet train) travels from central Tokyo
to Nagano Station.
From Nagano Station take the local
Iiyama line to Togari Nozawa Onsen Station (a
60 minute journey). There are trains almost every hour
and most trains have a direct bus connection. The bus
ride from Togari Nozawa Onsen station to Nozawa Onsen
resort takes about 20 minutes.
If you take the Nagano
Dentetsu Line, get off at Kijima Station and take
the bus to Nozawa.
There are also a number
of direct buses from Nagano Station East Exit to Nozawa
Onsen.
