Black Diamond Rentals offers a selection of top of the line backcountry ski equipment so you can safely ride the steep and deep in Niseko’s phenomenal backcountry bowls. We carry avalanche transceivers, collapsible shovels and probes. We also rent snowshoes and trekking poles for snowboarders, climbing skins and touring bindings for skiers.

Also available is a limited selection of downhill ski and snowboard equipment.

Demo has 2 big locations at Hirafu and the new facility at Hanazono, offering skis, ski boots, snowboards, snowboard boots, helmets and snow shoes for adults and kids. Now in its fifth season, the team at Demo team takes pride in understanding the areas conditions, equipment selection and guest’s needs.  

Choose to rent your equipment at Hanazono and you can take advantage of the free valet service so you or your family won’t be lugging your equipment around.

You can access Hanazono via the 308 Bus service that runs through the upper and lower Hirafu village every 20 minutes.

Demo is committed to being the best rental store in Niseko , its experienced bilingual staff strongly support local trade by only buying Japanese supplied equipment.  Demo is open during winter from 8.30am to 8.30pm and it is situated on the main street in Hirafu and inside the Hanazono 308 Day center.

One of Australia’s premier ski store chains has opened in Niseko, Japan. Well known to Australian skiers and snowboarders since 1975, Inski is easy to find at the traffic lights in the heart of Hirafu village, Niseko, Hokkaido.

Inski has the right skis and Snowboards for all conditions in Japan. Regular carve skis, high performance, twin tips, snowblades,junior skis, mid fat and fat skis, all mountain boards, wider boards available for hire. Open 7 days 8am to 8pm.

Niseko 343 was the first pro ski shop in Niseko and now has over 13 years of experience - with over 270 rental skis & snowboards, specializing in K2.  Tune-up service is also available.  As well as skis and snowboards, the shop stocks wear from Spyder and SOS.  Equipment including Smith and Spy goggles, hats and other gear is also available.  Niseko 343 also provides a pick-up and drop-off service for ski hire customers.
