PLEASE NOTE:
This list of ski towns is by no means definitive -
there are many 'ski towns' in Japan and over 500
individual ski and snowboard resorts throughout the
country. All of these resorts are covered on
Snow Japan. For
information on all ski and snowboard resorts throughout
the country, please refer to the
Resort section of
the site.
So why these towns? Firstly, these
towns are amongst the most popular ski towns in Japan.
Snow Japan also provides daily reporting from these
regions and we also have a lot of content on the site
covering the towns. We thought that it would be a
good idea to bring all of that information together into
useful "Town Guides".
The Guides are also not
'complete' - we are working on adding more information to
the current guides and are also very keen to add more
Guides in the future. If you have any comments or suggestions,
please email us at
editor@snowjapan.com.
Thank you.
