Only half open and not the more interesting half, I think. Nothing above mid-level and all the life groomed out of the course. The only thing this place had going for it was that there was hardly anyone there. I can see why...
Only go here if you are a beginner or a family. |

We are now having the second snap thaw of this month. Aomori city is almost clear of snow although cold. Moya Hills has become iced over and not a very enjoyable hill to visit at the moment. I would only recommend it to those of us with less than 48 hours to live and desprate to have one last session before meeting the big guy upstairs. It is that bad.
Best wait for the next big dump... |

| Moya opened last saturday and with it being my local resort I decided to go give it a go. Only one lift on the easy runs is working at the moment. The snow is at very low levels with a fair bit of vegetation sticking up. Another couple of big snow dumps is needed before its worth visiting for the day. |

| At the Moya Hills on New Year’s Day, glad to be snowboarding and helping a friend learning to board, half-day pass was 2000 yen. It was fun to have a few steep runs only thing was they were iced all over. Wish the pipe/park was open & when it does there awaits a beautiful and natural kicker, just perfect for back flips! Missed out on night skiing, again...next time, peaceout. |
