The new Snow Japan Photos section is where you can easily
upload your ski/snowboard/snow/Japan-related photos. Once you have posted
photos, your very own Photo Gallery is automatically created which displays all
of your photos together. Uploading photos is really simple - the
Photo Uploader page is
here (you need to be
logged in), and it takes just seconds...

Choose a Prefecture (if
your photo is not for a specific Prefecture, please leave this field as it
is); |

Choose
a Resort (If your photo is not for a specific Resort, please leave this
field as it is): |

Find
the photo on your computer; |

Write
a short caption for your photo. |

Click on Upload Photo |
Once you have uploaded a Photo, you will automatically be taken
to your own Photo Gallery that displays all of your Photos. If it is your
first Photo, your Photo Gallery will automatically be created.
(You can also delete any of your Photos at any time.... you
should see a Delete link appear under any of your Photos - just click on that,
confirm that you want the Photo deleted and it will be deleted).

The size of each photo is limited to 200KB - if you
try and upload a photo that is larger than that size, you will see a
message telling you that the image is too large. If you are having
problems reducing the size of your photos, we recommend the application you
can find at
www.irfanview.com.

limited to 400 photos. |

A few rules:
The Photos section has been created for SJ'ers to upload their
ski / snowboard / snow / Japan-related photos. Please refrain from
uploading anything that isn't covered by that, we do not want this section to
be used as a place just to upload anything.... the idea is for a comprehensive
Photo Guide to Japanese snow resorts to build up that will be useful to
everyone.
Please do not
post any of the following:

things that have nothing to do with winter sports and/or Japan; |
| - |
offensive images of any kind; |
| - |
pornographic images; |
| - |
copyrighted material; |
| - |
photos that do not belong to you (without the permission
of the owner); |
| - |
images that look like advertisements. |

Any of the above will be deleted without warning. And just so everyone
knows, we have the last word on what is appropriate and what is not - and we can delete photos without warning if we feel they are not appropriate.
