These skis were my first twin tips and they are really solid all mountain skis - not floppy at all, they charge over crud, perform well on hardpack and ice and float in the pow - exactly what I wanted them to do. I've used this ski on pow days, in the trees, on steep icy pistes and charging over avi debris in the bc and this ski just loves it all. I don't ski much park, but they are certainly designed for park and pipe too and the 85mm underfoot gives you a nice landing. These are stable skis, not super light, nor heavy. Just great if you want something fun and versatile to cover all terrain, hence being an all mountain twin. The topsheet is also ptex, which means you can wax 'em up top, but it also means the edges can get a bit gnarly - but at the same time that's easily cleaned up.

Rating: 8/10

Final comments

Having skied a bit of pow on the PEs I'm now looking to something fatter purely for pow days. Saying that, the PEs float pretty well in the deep stuff. I'll be keeping these skis this coming season as an all round performer for all conditions and for progressing in the park. These skis definitely lived up to my expectations of a ski that could take me into all kinds of terrain and just eat it up. Solid all mountain ski - highly recommend them. Love 'em.
