Report:
The rainy season has really kicked in the last week or so with quite a lot of heavy rain - sometimes short bursts but more often rainy, grey sky cloudy days.
This morning started off with more rain but it has cleared up somewhat this afternoon and while still cloudy it is quite bright. It has been fairly humid as well.
Tomorrow looks set to be a mix of sun and then more rain later on and rain on and off during the coming week.... maybe after that we might be near the end of the offical rainy season and able to get on with the summer.
The Fuji Rock Festival is fast approaching - once more at Naeba, the festival will be on for 3 days from Friday 25th - Sunday 27th July.

Report:
Well it didn't really turn out to be a hot week. There has been some rain but not as much as is expected for rainy season. It has also just been on the local news that Niigata is experiencing a very dry spring/rainy season with water levels much lower than expected.
For the weekend it looks like tomorrow will be cloudy and then we might have rain on Sunday... after that more clear weather with temperatures rising later on in the week.

Report:
We are now officially in rainy season and there has been a fair bit of rain since late last week. It has been fairly cool though and today temperatures only rose to around 21 degrees. At times it is quite humid, but not what you might expect for this time of year.
Just cloud forecast for tomorrow and then mixed weather after that. It will probably get hotter as the week progresses.
